Laptops vaio fx problem with hinge

hi all,

I have 3 yrs or so old vaio fz 140 brought from states.

right now its doing fine and its got one issue of hinge.

as i understand laptop hinge carries

1) display cables

2)wifi antena

3)mic and webcam cables.

I have this issue of frequent wifi disconnections and backlight goes of screen.

i can see it but its extremely dim.

it will work with full backlight only at perticular angle.

what can be issue?

how can i fix it?

Probably the cable connecting the laptop to the screen has a loose connection or is damaged (points 1-3 are a single cable for my laptop)

Get it fixed under warranty, it should be covered

Its out of warranty.and sony India does not honour American Sony products under india warranty.

I have to repair it on my own.

Any pointer where I can find taht cable?
