Aicel's speed is pathetic in my area.

DL speed 2kBps-3kBps at my PC...........:(

But Airtel good,got avg. 12kBps DL speed.
 
I am using Airtel 2GB FUP / Rs 98 plan and it works well for me on the phone. Rarely use it connected to laptop but there speeds are okiesh.

I have used aircel before and yes the speeds are pathetic.
 
Get the Rs. 98 recharge from Airtel its brilliant I just got the 18 one to try it out for 3 days and its working really well in combination with Opera.

Hey finally someone knocked some sense in me :P

I got confused by that very fact that when i had vodafone live i could not access my mail and attachments .

My basic query (reason for starting this thread) is there a cheaper alternative to vmc which allows me to access :

1. my mail,with its attachments.

2.browse the internet (not only wap sites)

But Can u pls tell me which 3G dual SIM phones are u using. My friend is looking for one dual sim phone with 3G.
 
Did Vodafone just launched Rs.99 unlimited net yesterday?? A lady giving out free sims at big bazaar told me this. I brought 2 sim cards :P
 
What is the diffirence If I opt for GPRS scheme rather than the EDGE one? Is it slower?

Vodafone live is cheaper than Vodafone Net connect.

VL - 10kb/5p no rental

Voda Mobile Connect - 10kb/5p 200 rental
 
^^^Vodafone Live is WAP service while Vodafone Mobile Connect is full fledged internet connection which you can also use with laptop...thats why later is expensive than former....
 
I have used aircel n its cheap but no good speed
For real vfm bsnl 2g n if u hav 3g handset use that network n get great speed. I m using it n its really cheap with .01 paise and for a month its 175 unlimited

Mail Exchange, Push Mail, Tethering everything works well, no restrictions.

I do not see any such plans on their website. How did you subscribe?
