Please place the profile details such as joining date etc to the right side as it was previously. In this new format, the posts are taking a lot of vertical space and we have to do a lot of scrolling. Especially with smaller monitors. :(

Same here, this has been the case for me since the v4 update
 
something needs to be done to limit signature size. with the new theme, the size of the postbit on the left already increases the wasted space in a post. putting multiple images one on top of the other means that a single post can take up an entire browser window. screenshot below -

i think one line of information in an entire screen is quite ridiculous.

The dude in the screenshot needs to be infracted on multiple counts

Its is being optimized, but not yet fully. Will need one more iteration.

Automerge option is now live. :)

The spoiler is still not working. Will have to recode it.
 
New post in sale thread sometime back got automerged with last post dated June 2 (08:48am). :S

Also how do i bump a sale thread then?

+1 for this. Too much off excessive scrolling :( I guess there would be many TEians with laptops and most of the times a single post takes up 70-75% of the vertical size even when using chrome.

Did you bump after 24hrs of your last post ? In that case it should be bumped else it will be automerged.
 
Automerge should work now correctly. 24hrs is the minimum time between consecutive posts, else they get merged automatically.

Thanks its working now.. My last post was on 3 Jun 10 07:17 PM , i tried to bump today (5 Jun) at 01:45 PM, but it merged (its more than 24hrs). Tried again today 06:57 PM , it bumped.
