hello guys,

Does anyone know this ac is and also how much it costs. I am planning it in croma , will the price be high in croma? Pls guys reply fast :sos:.

I also planning for the same, from some other dealer. IT is a good one with 5 star rating. Also there is one new model going to be launched in the same name - Vertis Gold EYE check out for this also.

Just picked it up last week for Rs 28500/-

I'm sure I could have got it cheaper, had I shopped around-but I needed an Ac urgently. Delhi's not really hot enough yet to give an estimate on it's cooling but its doing good. Has excellent throw, specially in turbo mode.

I was quoted 29500 rs which included 1 yr warranty and stabliser.Installation charge 1500 is extra. Does ur price include installation charge and stabliser?

Search it in Croma, note the model, ask for final price, move out & go to local delaer- he may beat croma in price. :)

Will have to check. But I'm sure it was without the stabilizer. Installation was free. Haven't paid for it as yet. :ohyeah: But I'm sure one should be able to squeeze another grand in discount if one shops around. This was not Croma but an all in one electronics shop.

I think the Voltas Vertis Gold Ac's have been discontinued and replaced by the Panache series. I think Vertis gold availability is already bad and panache is very expensive. How about the other Ac's like Onida and godrej which are cheaper but from what i have read use japanese compressors and are similar to the Voltas Gold? I too am planning on getting a 1.5T split Ac....maybe the others here could pour in their suggestions:)

the panache range of ac are premium models and NO they don't replace the other line UP,currently the panache range are one of the most,if not the most efficient AC available in india.

After shopping around a bit, managed to find a place where i can get the Voltas Gold 1.5T for 26000rs plus installation charges. The new Vertis Gold I model is for Rs 1000 lesser. Any idea about the new model as there doesnt seem to be much info on the net...which would be a better buy??

Which place you found Vertis Gold 1.5 for 26000. Here in chennai it cost Rs.28500 + 1450 installation charges.

Got the rate from a local electronics store here in Mumbai. Vijay sales and some of the other biggies quoted 27k to 27.5k plus installation charges....

Just an update. Delhi is getting hot now has been 38-39c @ 2PM. Don't go by IMD they log Max Temps at 12 noon.

Heat generation in room:

Two adult St Bernards.

One Golden Retriever.

42 in LCD

iMac 22 incher

And yours truly as well...

Room size Approx 200sq feet.

Door to dressing room opened - size App @28sqft

Adjoining door to small Loo opened - size App 24 Sq ft

Thermostat set at 19c. Room temp as I post at 2:20Pm @ 22C. Brrrr

Happy camper with the Vertis Gold 1.5 ton 5star rating.

Never thought I'd pick a Voltas. This is definitely cooling better than the Indian OG 1.5 ton window unit, I have in another smaller room. Both top floor. Sun hitting two walls and roof.

Cheers..

This is quite a good AC. Got it around year and a half (or 2 years) back arond 29K I think.

No issues so far (only had to get a better voltage stabilizer).
