Finally, one of my lame friend has decided to buy a comp. He is not willing to spend much on the comp but i know that only thing he will do on the comp is to game. So here is what i have thought for him.

Cut the cpu to 3000+ and add a live 24bit. The neo4 platinum is around 7.5 grand. For ram, get twinmos... better chance of oc'ing than transcend for sure. Add a dvd writer as well.

The A8N-E is 6.3K~6.5K here. Why don't u try the Super Elixir with Nanya Tech. RAM which SCSI got for 900 / 256 MB and OC'ed it to 263 with seriously tight timings ? How much is the SATA 160 - Retailing here in Chennai for 4300. The Transcend is 2400 / 512 MB with the PSC Chips that I've and they OC decent to 216 @ 2.5-3-3-7. If it's still the DVD-ROM that he wants, get the Lite-On 16P9S which Eazy got 2 days back for 1.5K. Seems to be a good ROM.
