but the card i have will alone help me to watch TV on my computer ?
i am completely new to VIVO.
i want to watch TV and record some discovery kind of stuff.
what all i need. please give me in points..
i hope my card support MPEG4 blaabla..

Well i don't thing any graphics card offers hard ware based encoding.So unless you have a faster dual core no point getting them.



A question here:- Do DVRs sourced from america work in india.I know tivo is subcription based and won't work here but what about other dvr like humax(?) and others??

@Avi_avdhoot what kinda cable tv connection r u having? DTH, DVB? or regular cable? The answer obviously depend on it.
