Video converter software

I want a software which is fast and can convert various video/audio formats from one to another.

Most important thing is that it should tell beforehand in regard to the output of the file i.e. size etc

we can always estimate ithyeah:

or simple formula
{audio stream kbps+video stream kbps}Xplayback time in seconds
this will give you size in kilobits
divide your answer with 8192 you will get size in megabytes

Pazera Conversion Suite is free and is good, can convert all sorts of video, however it does not tell what the output size will be.

If you are talking about DVD to Divx conversion stuff, Divx Pro lets you choose the size araam se. So you define the output size and the rest the software figures out. Awesome! Perfect for set it and forget it!

Give this a Try SUPER 2009 Build 36. I guess it wont tell u before hand the exact output size but it will let u choose the output file size so that the final video is of size of ur choice.
