video format

Hi

i have 5 video songs which is in .mpeg format.I can viewed in my pc.How can i get this files to be viewed in my DVD player.I wriiten these files into DVD and tried to ply but didn't workput.I opted nero buring rom 10 and seleted DVD-video but coud not succeed.Pls kindly advise me a solution for this.
 
Create a DVD-Video out of those video files then you will be able to play in your DVD player. You can also create a VCD out of it.
Use nero for making VCD.
Open nero express>select create VCD>add file>burn - it will automatically convert the video files into the compatible format for your DVD-player.
Alternately use nero vision to create a DVD-video file :)
 
I think you have to convert your videos to PAL... i have created a Music Video Disk before using Nero and when i used to burn NTSC MPEG files the nero software used to ask Convert NTSC videos into PAL...
 
This is format compatibility issue. use dvdflick software to create dvds.is your dvd player support divx if yes then convert it to .avi using xvid.

creatina a vcd is not a wise option.
 
Thank for solution it worked out

I used wondershare video convertr for converting into video files.Then written inro DVd by using nero burner
