Are you kidding me? Its not promoting piracy but lowering piracy..Why is piracy there in the first place? 80-90% because of High Cost of a game...If suppose a game was cost hardly 300-500 for ps3 would there be piracy in 1st place? As the prices are high so is piracy...If someone deals with sony and others for the Rental Service...He as well as the Company's will be in Profit.

A friend of mine is in need of this service. Do any of the sites still offer PS3 games for rent? I saw Moviemart and that has quite an extensive library, but the plans are a bit high. Anything else to compete that?

I'm still with moviemart the plan which I got was 3k for 12 games anytime

there is another seller who rents game in delhi dhurv should know him

Btw yeah that Delhi plan was quite cheap. I sourced infamous through Dhruv from that guy. But Dhruv did tell me a catch. Like he doesn't have too many stocks or he doesn't stock the latest titles. Someone like that.

Hey Allwyn, try landmark dude. These guys take back the titles and give you money back. What I am not sure is, should we return the titles which were purchased from Landmark outlets. I had been to one today here at the Inorbit, Vashi but forgot to ask that!

Do they now? That's great. My friend isn't an extremely hardcore gamer, but is now hooked to the PS3 exclusives. I'll give him a heads up and tell him to have a look. I also found out that Moviemart exchanges old games for new, or at least that's what a line mentioned on their website. Not sure how it works, but even if it gets him a used copy, it's not a bad deal.
 
Co incidently I was discussing the same topic with one of m frnds and he told me of renting xbox titles for 5$.
Infact in Pune Landmark had that services but they found that people damaged the discs and fought for paying the price and other typical issues you would expect like discs being exchanged or stolen.
Now they buy and sell used games but there is a catch. They only buy those used discs which
1) Were originally bought from them. (New and old ones)
2) Are still in their list of buying. They have a list of games and prices. They buy and sell only as per that list.

A vdo library in Viman Nagar had started a similar facility but he said his competitors rented the discs, copied them and sold them at low prices :D

Why not get the games from ivg trading section some ps3 exclusives were sold as low as 400 there
