Depends upon what you are comparing to it. A 720p LCD will be significantly inferior while a real 1366x768 plasma will be superior to this. But then until the new gen panels arrive, in India one doesnt have a choice higher than 1024x768 at 42". Hitachi has a rather weird 1024x1080 panel but I don't like Hitachi plasmas so much.
