What you are talking abt is a different matter. Yet again, if other are doing the work, same quality at same pay, then its a fair wage according to the market..And so the workers demand is not justified..And the owner is justified in his decision.

What the reaction of the employees will be:-
1) Act offensive, try to harm the employer--in which case the police will lock them up.
2) Harm new employees:- police again.
3)Adjust work hard and earn the increment:- the employer will happily give them an increment. If he doesnt, they can find work at other place, work hard and earn that increment at some other place..in such a case, the employer will be at a loss not the employee.. cause the employer will be loosing good workers..

that kind of brutal competition only exists in dog eat dog world...hope India doesnt come down to that..pay shud depend on the kind of profits he is making ...

The examinations of the jobs in the railways were being conducted in Maharasthra. obviously to fulfill requirements in this region. then why is it that soo many more non-Maharashtrian/North Indians turned up for the tests? according to him, such exams receive minimal publicity through newspaper ads out here in maharastra. On the other hand, the ads get published in almost all newspapers in Bihar/UP. makes sense if you think about it.

that was exactly the reason given out by a local kannada group leader here in bangalore...he says ads for such posts r given in every english/local lang daily of north states(up/bihar)...but only in a few English dailies here...not in local(kannada) dailies here..dont know whether it is true or not..but this what he said in a tv interview.

What MNS is asking for is advt in local marathi newspapers. What they fail to understand is advt are in Hindi and english coz they are kind of universal languages. Have you ever seen other states asking for advt in their languages? Why does marathi needs a special treatment? Agreed they cant read hindi, but they can sure read english if they are asking for seat in railways.

Hmmm.. so the politicians in the North are corrupt. They havent done much to develop their state and enough job opportunities. So the labor class had to move to the "superior states" and work for lower wages (by the superior state's standards, not theirs)

Yep thats reason enough to beat them to death. I think MNS has great foresight.

What will happen is, people will realise that they will return in body bags if they go to "superior states". Then they will curse their political leaders and vote for someone else. The new leader will work for development. The downtrodden state will come to the standards set forth but the "superior states". India will soon become a developed country.

Development is a slow process but the above mentioned method will speed up the process. Raj is a true visionary. What foresight, what execution!!

Well then what is? You gett nothing in India with silent protest its like "Might is Right" law of jungle seems to be working in India otherwise wild animals like Mayawati,Laloo,Mulayam Singh wouldn't be out there who have so many court cases pending against them its just a backlash which was due.

And if those exams are not advertised here, then there's a way and manner of protesting killing you brothers who are writing the exams is not the way..
Go get the collars of the officers who were responsible..!! They are the ones to be blamed..
And this is where the likes of raj thakeray flourish..they wont go after the officers, cause there's no media coverage there, they wil hunt the innocent, thats where the votes lie.. Do you support this cowardly behaviour??
