Vista 32 SP1 cant play games and install XP Apps

Hey guys,

Installed POC Vista Ultimate SP1 32 bits..

Research convinced me that all XP Stuff will work.. probably atleast games will work..

Till now tried:
SOF Payday = Crashes after starting the gameplay
Crysis = Crashes after starting the gameplay
Lost Planet Extreme Cond.. = Dint start (known issue)
Also cant install apps like Alcohol..
Asked peeps around and they said they dint face any issues running games and apps on Vista SP1 32 as well as 64bits..
Any suggestions???

AFAIK vista ultimate eats a lot of ram and in your case 1 gb ram is making the game crashes,at least 2 gb is minimum to play games on vista

BTW, I run Vista on this machine:
E8400
Abiti IX38 QuadGT
2gb RAM COrsair XMS 2
enuff HDD Space
...etc

I am using Vista 64 and no probs ever. Not even one in running apps. Its the most stable Windows OS I have seen. Even more so than XP.

Well am using EVGA 8800GT KO 512mb GDDR3

@vNerd..am using Vista Ulti. 32 Bits... any suggestions??? I dunno why games are crashing?

This is forcin me to think again about XP..mebbe XP with SP3.

After one of these crashes do

Run > eventvwr.msc

Look for errors.
