I doubt if it accelerates the GUI using 3d hardware like aero. Without that, its gonna be dog slow :\

Just tell me, is the thing usable speedwise?

IE wil my A64 with 512 MB RAM be able to run it?

My A64 with 1GB RAM is running it perfectly, doesn't slow down the system a bit...

Strange thing is vista doesnt have a wallpaper of that type

I dont think it is yet possible to get the glass effect in xp.But window blinds v5 is going to support it.
Have a look at this(it's xp)

There is also a dextop x widget that gives glass style for ie and explorer but it is not very conveinent to use.

had the exp when it was in beta but i don't enjoy the skinning tools for more then a day anyway.

well i got it. its pretty good. but for some reasons the icons dint change. any idea y?

or do u have to manually change the icons.

^^ hmm..then no idea..
heres wat i did b4 installing it:
1) turned off anti-virus.
2) when it asked to restore orinal files, i cancelled tat.
it worked okay for me..
