Vnc help!

guys ive been using real vnc to remote control my friends pc for a long time..but now he got a wireless router installed and now i cant connect to his pc anymore cuz the ips his pc is gettin is like 192.168.x.x sumthin like dat.can anyone tell me how to go thru this?.earlier his ips used to be like 69.x.x.x sumthin.hes in the us
 
Ask him the IP of the Router. i.e. the external IP. And also tell him to open up the VNC port on the router to allow connections to the VNC server on his PC.

Arreee in plain hindi just tell him to open up VNC port on the router to his pc i.e. Port Forwarding. And i think his ip i.e. 69.x.x.x will be same. So connect to that IP and the router will forward ur connection to his PC.
 
thanx monty..im gonna try hamachi...i tried makin a hamachi server on my own pc..and then tryin to remote control it ..it works...even though im not behind a nat...ill see if itll work for my friend .
 
Areee.. when did u get to knw abt all this.. i tot all u knew was to gay arnd.. is it ibz or is it someone else using his id?? :ohyeah: :ohyeah:
