In the event that I want to cancel my Prepaid 3G data plan, and switch back to 2g, is there any way of doing this? Supposing I do a 98 buck 2g recharge for 1 month. After the month is over, am I charged for 3g usage (2p/kb) or 2g usage (10p/10kb)?

I am not sure about others, but in case of Idea you have to specifically send messages (SMS) to activate as well as deactivate 3G. Once activated, and if you do not deactivate, you will be charged according to the 3G tariff even if you use 2G or after you exhaust your free data bundle.

Aircel is the only one making the best deal.

Aircel Rs. 128 3G pack:

- 500 MB 3G data
- Unlimited 2G data after 3G data limit

Hmm nice offer by Airtel, that i have use 3G 250 mb (102 plan it work flawless and no disconnect speed drop and need to wait for most cheaper plan soon
