^^I think they meant that once can use free internet in 2G/3G mode in this period provided you are not on any plan (which is BS reason IMO). I hope you get the 3G thing activated.

Yes, it's for both 2G and 3G.

And varkey you are right, to shift to 3G network you need to activate one of the 3G plans. And once you moved to 3G you can then utilize the Super Week in 3G.

Checked with vodafone CC and confirmed it's free for 3G as well.. activated the basic 100rs/100MB plan..

seems slow to me. I get similar speeds with mtnl 3g at around 3mbps.

^as far as i have got to know from friends you wont get 3g network access unless you choose a 3g plan. So free or not free you cannot use it on 3g on a connection having a 2g plan.

check my signature... Thats my current speed.. Actually i started late and downloaded using torrent..

today successfully crossed 5 GB in 2.5 hrs...

Anyway... i will be buying MTNL sim soon for unlimited connection.. did u activate HSDPA on MTNL or just 3G ?

I have 2GB/month for Rs98 plan activated.

I also had vodafone live Rs 49 plan activated.. but two days before i called CC and cancelled live plan and activated basic 3G 100MB/100 rs plan... Now enjoying 9 to 12 superweek offer and already download more than 8 to 9 GB.. You can also try that, but only 2 days remaining + 3g plan activation will take minimum 24 hrs..
