I have a query....:huh:

How r the winners in the contests of Eye candy adjudged.....:huh:

I think they r decided by the Mods rgt(Renegade to be preceise:ohyeah: ).....But shoulnt there be a voting system to judge the winners:cool2: .....It would be a fair call rgt.....

Since we r the world's grtest democracy & we r a community(:hap2: TE:hap2: ) so I think there should be a Voting system .....to adjudge the winners of the month

Wat do U guys say????.....Think abt it...:ohyeah:

I think you have been around on the forums enough to know which section to post in.:)
Kindly ensure that the next time you post, it is in the right section. This also refers to the gallery.

Now coming back to the point in your post.
As of now, the system for selecting the winner of the *OTM contests is taken jointly by the staff and since this is a democracy and to ensure a fair decision, we cannot as of now allow the voting system to be made by members due to "proxies". However, if and when we do decide to do otherwise, we will let all on TE know about it.

But I do think there should be a voting system.....rest is up to u guys.....

why isnt the Oscars decided by public voting??

For the simpl reason that people will not choose right. They will vote for the PERSON and not for the ART.

Same thing here.... hwta LOOKS good may not actually be a great work of art.... experts who are well versed in Photoshop and other s/ws should choose because they can recognise true pieces of art.

Something which does not look good but is great from a technical point of view should win. But if you take a public vote, something else will win even though that may not deserve it.

I am firmly against this idea....

It should be both. Look good, and be awesome work!

But atleast we should know who's allowed to choose :|.
