Want an Ultra Cheap Mobo & Cpu for office apps & download rig

As the title suggest need a really cheap mobo & cpu capable of running office appls,accounting package & should be able to double up as download rig with moderate power consumption.

Also one main requirement is board must have some Sata Ports & DDR 2 Memory Support .

how about a cheap atom solution @ 3050?---i saw it today with the 1.6ghz single core with the intel board.

Go for Intel E2160 or E2180 with DG31PR. It will cost you about 5,000. (Both processors are dual core with 1.6Ghz and 1.8Ghz frequency respectively)

Thanks for the posting the link, but if igo for an abit ip35 E, i will again have to add an GPU, which is not worth for an office PC.

Or you can go for the Biostar NV-7050, which won't do wonders but will suffice for an office PC..

A p4 3Ghz will not suite my needs, as i mentioned this rig will double up as down load rig.Thus power consumption will be a concern.

ASUS P5N73-AM motherboard. SATA+DDR2 800MHz/FSB 1333/onboard nVidia 7050 IGP. Can give for 1.5k+shipping if u can find or buy a 775 celeron chip.

BTW have a p4 2.6 (478), Celeron 1.1 Ghz(370) :ashamed: + some DDR1 & SDRAMS as well , if u need them
