Hey,
I am looking to Adapt a dog in Thane (Maharashtra).
Any breed like Labrador, golden retriever, german shepherd will do...
Not that it should be a pure, But should have Physics like these...

HAHAHa comon now this is new n innovative. cant imagine u put it in the market thread thou its nice to ask but put in a market... damm its hillarious even to imagine:clown: and u actually did it just a salute :captain: from my end thou there should be an ot market section i guess :P :rotf::O:O:O:lol::lol::lol::lol::bangin::bangin::chair::boxed::lame:
 
I love this thread !!! Please put some more info here as I am planning to buy a st bernard or a lab .. Any tips from dog owners will be helpful

Buddy, to my knowledge, a labrador, a golden retriever, or german shepherd do not come up for adoption...they are sold as commodities. If you want a want a dog as a pet, why not adopt a mongrel puppy?
 
Why not an Indian Dog? Your chances of getting a Pedigreed Dog in adoption agencies are very rare. They are occasionally found in some adoptive agencies. But normally they are in their last days and have some serious health issues and don't last long. So do yourself a favor, buying a puppy is not a small decision.

If you are a previous dog owner, I need not tell you anything. But if you are a first time dog owner do understand that buying a puppy is the easiest part in dog ownership. Research what breed you want and go for it if you want a pedigreed dog. If you buy a pedigreed dog cheap, probably you will pay a lot during its entire lifetime for medical expenses. Good breeders always place a premium on their pups. For a hassle free dog ownership, adopt an Indian Dog. BEST DOGS EVER!!!!
 
@ OT: If you want to adopt a puppy then be prepared that you will be having your hands full, literally. You have to clean all the mess made by him. Do remember to get your puppy properly vaccinated & get him his booster shots at regular intervals. There are many things which can be told to you to take care with a puppy dog specially about biting. Dogs like to put each & every thing they find in their mouth in their 1st year of birth due to their teeth growing age.

As for breed suggestion, I will suggest yo to go for either Labradors or German shepherd.

Labradors: Very intelligent, friendly with kids, very loyal.

German Shepherd: Very loyal, Protective, Good watch dog, vary of strangers, ok with kids.
