CPU/Mobo want to assemble a pc!!

I know 8600gt is best in this segment but i dont have money rite now spent the money which i saved for the card on 17' LCD now i want something for the time being i ll get an 9600gt may be in october so till then i am thinking something below 2.5k plz let me know what can i get nvidia or ati dosnt matters plzz suggest

In that case it's better that you don't invest in GPU right now, instead rely on Onboard Graphics right now and buy a Better CPU like Intel C2D E4600 instead.
