Well my pld rack of sony dvd-r jus got over...but i need to take some backups......so want a new one of abt 25......i want o know which 1 to go for....which is available here in mumbai.....

Also some time bak i used to hear that dvd-r format is not that gr8...than how is dvd-r...and whats its advantage..plus price of 1 of it.....

also my frnd jus bought a dvd rw for 60buks frm lamington...why is dvd prices coming down?????

are dual layer disc goin cheap or wht???
 
Naaah...it wont fall down.... Blu-Ray is in a different league all together. Would you expect Merc E Class prices to fall because a new S-Class is released ? Of course not....

Anyway, magnet, buy Moser Baer India if you can find them. Better than these would be Verbatims..
 
yeah re u stay in mumbai. contact ankush.. and he'll home deliver the deeeveedees to you .. :).. and the verbatim RW costs 70 bucks. i got two of em :)
 
yup actyually i myself tried moserbaerformy frnds..and they worklike charm...some sony one wont even allowme to write vido dvds........

but pls shed some ideas on format.........why dvd +r isprefered over dbd-r and whts its price
 
I think dvd+r has more compability with dvd players than with dvd-r . I bought one for 23 bucks each not in Mumbai thou ... but with my LG drive , I can't stimulate dvd+r :(

dude i dont know of mumbai , but go in for moser baer , infact you buy samsung , hp , moser baer , some local brands to. all of them are made by moser baer india.

i am using the HP DVD +R 8x these days and they have been doing great , prices at 20 - 22 bucks here in delhi they are a charm to buy out of roughly 25 dvds that i have burnt in the past 2 months or so none have shown any kind of probs.

AND if only some one told me were the hell could i find DL disc from verbatim / maxell that would be great in delhi coz i am just not able to.. ehh.

LOL ,, grrr :P anyway

I meant,, I can't stimulate a burn with DVD+R . thats the problem..
 
i prefer moserbaerPRO +r dvds to anything else out there

i have 2 year old dvds which are still running prefectly

some sony's have also conked out by now

first you wanted to stimulate a dvd, now you want to stimulate a burn!!

you are human dude! you don't need a dvd for stimulation, there are more humane alternatives that have holes also

As for the original question..I'm just about to finish with my second 50-pack spindle of Moser Baer Pro 16X DVD-R's..No problems with even a single one so far..And at Rs. 925/- for a 50-pack..I'd say its a good deal.. ;)
