Want to get money from a friend's credit limit - what modes do I have

If you withdraw money from ATM using credit card, your friend will have to pay the cash advance fee and also the interest.
 
^ If he is unable to pay by the due date, it will be 3% interest each month.

That said, care to share the whole story in the thread? I will still say better sell it and get your money, no one is going to be richer taking out money from CC.
 
@karankapoor looks like i was wrong... 22k was addition to his cc limit. he will be giving me directly... but he said cc takes time to transfer from limit to bank... 2 days or so..

Sell what?

He ordered a phone from Amazon and paid his friend who instead of waiting for the statement, went ahead and transferred the same amount to his credit card. Now when he returned the phone to Amazon they returned the money to the credit card account. I think you'll get the full picture now.

@OP - Since your friend has already used the extra credit limit just ask him to pay you cash.

I don't mean to be rude but what are you really so agitated about??? For me the description dint make sense - "bought a phone, refunded and money went to CC". In my previous post I even added an edit, realising what he has really done. Its still an assumption like yours but he liked the post and that makes me think I was correct to a point. Anyways thanks for adding to my list of ignored members.

I am sorry if my post sounded rude to you and that clearly wasn't my intention. Also this is not a customary apology, I really mean it.

I had actually explained his situation pretty clearly in one of my earlier posts as even I thought he hadn't explained his predicament clearly enough in the OP.

Edit - I read my reply again and it is definitely rude. I guess I was angry when I wrote that reply and took it out on you. I hope you can accept my apology and let it slide this one time.
