yea and i was crusing in the middle of the road checking which button does what and he came from behind and came to a screeching hault, man that was funny....
 
ok i can host the game now and i have the 2004 as well as 2005 update, who all wanna play tonite?
 
I got 2005 too. We'll race tonight.

Indy right? Shouldn't change tracks everytime unless you know them all, takes far too many laps in the practice sessions getting used to a new circuit.

well, lapped monza as well, actually all tracks are a bit familier to me as i raced quite a lot on them in grad prix 3 i think it was, awesome game :ohyeah:
 
Tifosi is a natural at this game.
Doing 1.53's in Spa during his FIRST runs while I can manage only a 1:55 after 2 weeks with the game!

Managed to get 1:53 in the heavier 2002 Williams with the default grip setup and 22L of fuel (306kmph in straights. Will reduce some more wings and break 1:50 :D
I think I can do it with with that perfect 321kmph setup.
 
I did 1:50.8 during the race if youd didnt notice :P.
that was when i stretched my lead from 20s to 24s .
And yeah, I was using a 326KMph setup, I actually increased downforce for more grip :D and then played around with the gear ratios.

BTW, how do I fix the mismatch thing?:huh:
 
Harr! 1.50:6 without ANY aids except TC and stability. You used steer, opp-lock and ABS :P
Not to mention this was in the heavier 2002 Williams unlike your Ferrari.

But I had to push real hard lacking your inherent talent and the lack of any driving aids only makes it even tougher.

Yeah, steer really makes things simple :( .
Now im finding it hard to go faster than 1:54 lol.

@Goldy, u need to change ur braking style.

Im more of an FPS person.

Whats wrong with my breaking style? :/.

What should i really be doing?
 
From what I could see, you were braking too late and trying to brake + turn.
You should brake from about 70-80m from a turn (dont keep accelarator pressed while braking) , turn and then get back on power as early as u can. Dont try sliding around like in NFS.
