Want to start a tech based YT Channel. What do you expect from one?

So, I want to start a tech based YouTube channel targeted at international viewers but with special focus on Indian viewers. I want to do stuff like news, product and game reviews, opinions, etc but also want to have a special segment or day for products available mainly in India like Micromax, Karbonn etc, their reviews and also buying advice. I want your ideas, opinions and expectations and advice on this. Thanks :)
 
I expect your channel to be different than others. You gotta figure out rest. All the best !

Keep it 'techy' .. there are enough layman's techy Indian YouTubers ..

IMO It cannot be done with only by one person you should have (small) team to do clarify,explore,testing,market watch etc. With top of that One Best Presenter :)

It can be done, but hard. A 3 member team is the best way to start off.
 
Do it in local language if it is for Indian audience. Hindi + any local language.

App reviews as Switch suggested would be awesome as well
 
If you are gonna do unboxing, then give a general overview of the product as well. Though that is possible for cellphones/tablets/cameras only.
 
Tech based reviews/unboxring/crash test/first preview>> All this gonna be tough for you if you a startie and don't have much of an investment. until and unless you do have some good source, you won't be able to lay your hands on mobile first in the market. Also in order to rest or review, you will have to buy the phones, test/review it and then sell it, so you might be probably losing 10% money here. Once you get credible will lots of followers, many company will surely offer their product for free, but that's a long way down............:unsure:

Whatever you show on vid, if you have physical product then only it will work, else if would be damm hard to promote it.

Be different from the league, start a channel highlighting only Cons of the product, no pros :234:
 
All the best @artikle. But only when you practically implement your ideas will you truly realise the challenges that your endeavour carries with it.

here are my 2 cents -
1] i would love if the delivery was good . Hopefully you will try your best here.

2] Decide on a format about how you wanna do about it and make it your usp of sorts.
