Want to Unlock : Blackberry Curve 8520 locked to Airtel India

Hi guys, gonna get my first Blackberry device from my friend, he told me its locked to airtel, How can i unlock it so that it can be used in any network? Is it a tedious task? also which network provider provides the best BB service? I mean fast internet browsing, high speed etc...

yup you can unlock it with some known s'wares like jaf, nemesis or phoenix. but i dont know the exact steps. Google and find out.

jaf,pheonix these requires a special box/dongle and cables for unlocking....!!

best is ask airtel if they unlock or buy an unlock code from ebay.com(you can use AT&T unlock,it works for most of the phones)...

They are sureshot methods without flashing the phone.
