Wanted: Beta testers for Quake Live

First announced at QuakeCon 2007 as "Quake Zero" then subsequently renamed, id Software's Quake Live is apparently set to debut as a public beta test. As Joystiq reports, id has started accepting sign-ups for the Quake Live beta by allowing users to enter their e-mail addresses on the upcoming game's website. The sign-up page says testers will "[be] given early access to the QUAKE LIVE website and game, and will help [id Software]test all of the game's features and functionality while offering feedback and suggestions."

Bump! So who got a beta key?

Online aspect goes live tommorow but you can play offline against bots at the moment and I have been playing a few games and its very good. Brings back some fantastic memories. It also looks very impressive for a browser game. I can post a couple of screenshots if someone wants.

It great.

Off to play some more.

EDIT Also can send a couple of invites if someone wants. For a small window of time only.
