Graphic Cards Warning regarding XFX 6600GT AGP cards

Gigabyte mobos made in India are the worst, ur better off with mercury than a Gigabyte mobo made in India, i bought an 845 GE mobo and it had sound problem right out of the box. and their service and support is not good either..

but the ones made outside are somewhat respectable and the new lineup of the boards from them are very good indeed
 
Those made in India are made by DLink's Goa factory and yes my KM266 was too made there.Morale of the story?HW 'Made in India' is a strict no-no.
For funky:DFI is best when it comes to insane oc'ing.ASUS and ABIT are still up there.
And DFI's OC(lanparty) mobos are all designed by some insane super-geek who came over from ABIT. :clap:
 
yep their value products are made here. Their performance parts are imported.
And it might change. They are opening a new facility to start making high end products here. Lets hope for the best.
 
DFI has sudden death syndrome for its NF4 range. It comes with its own stability problems too but its the best performing mobo out there.
Sometimes i wonder if SDS is bcoz of people like us who expect too much from DFi and push it too much ;)
 
As far as leadtek is concerned,leadtek or zebronics need to get their act 2gether.They have ZERO presence in the Delhi market.XFX is now available in every metro.

Leadtech is available in mumbai AFAIK.....wil let ya guys knw more on this..
nd yea if reviews r to go by....then Leadtech has come out as winner on almost all occasions.... :hap2:
but build quality nd stuff......Gigabyte has to be the best.... :hap2:

BTw taks of DFi goin on...those too use japanese connectors...so wht cud be the problem there...
nd also as many guys r importing a DFI as i had heard....there r probs of packing wit the DFI if u r not aware guys.....the onboard karanjan audio module as sperately packed.......is hurting the mobos ezee switches nd capacitors...dont know if they hav fixed this but take care to add a comment while ordering...... :cool2:

dude tell me a graphic card pci-e for 10-11.5k which with bargainig can be brought to 10k.

Well hardyboy is really trying hard to get the prices and all the facts right :)...
And now on to the topic... I picked up my 6600 GT around a month back now... I beleive it was from the new stocks cause of the new lower prices(picked it up for 11K.)... But it hasnt given me any problems as of now...

My classmate's Leadtek FX5200 was artefacting. Sent for repleacement on April 2nd. hasnt returned. whaddaya say about that??

just track down serial numbers and location from where you bought those , bcoz its very imp for all of us to know .

ou are adviced not to go in for XFX 6600GT AGP atleast for now. its taking forever to get the cards replaced and the problem with replacement is same. the replaced cards are not actiually new. All 3 replacements that my friend got were 100% previously used or faulty repaired cards. And all 3 went bad.
Yes they are replacing the cards but its going bad again in a day. One of the replacement was again DOA and there was date on the card stating 14/1/2005 and my friend bought his new card in march stating that they are not giving new cards as replacement. The card he received had numorous scratched on the heatsink and AGP connector.

Its been a big headache for the customers as well as distributors.

So if possible stay away from XFX 6600GT.

how much for the agp ? could you give the number of gigabyte seller in mumbai .

By the way card was from RASHI originally. And yes it was rev 2.0 which is suppose to fix HIS bridge overheating problem observed on Rev 1.0.
