No actually you can't progress until the commander destroys all the for consoles and when all the four are destroyed Zero doesn't lose his power the water comes up and he gets wet.What we have to do is go to the side way cause when ship tilts left ward then the water that came up gets accumulated towards left side and there is no water on the right so we have to go towards right and same vice versa when ships tilts right water comes towards right side and we have to move towards left side and in this we cannot warp between the are cause we are in water but we can can in the corners cause when we reach to the other side then there's no water so we can warp. I guess you were lucky your cutscene came fast mine it took me 3 here and there move's so i had to retry 6-7 times.:\ My friends were stuck here so they downloaded a trainer.
Exactly what I mentioned, if you read my post carefully.
Zero loses his abilities when water accumulates and then as the Commander is about to fire the laser, the cutscene begins. There's no way the cutscene could be delayed come what may. I was on the PORT side of the ship when this happened. Not sure if we start from the PORT and proceed to the STBD side, this could be possible though.
