Storage Solutions Warranty Status

Hi frnds I have a 80 Gb hdd which i got RMA about a month back ...today i went to the samsung website to check its warranty status but it doesnt have any info about it.It only shows this "Applicable only for drives sold by Samsung India till April'7 and from Aug'8 onwards. For HDDs sold in the period
May'7 to Jul'8, the concerned distributor/retailer to be contacted"

Just need to know any other possible way to get my hdd warranty status except going to the service center

Hey dude, faced a similar situation, in this scenario the warranty will be handled by the Service Center which provided them. You will not be able to check the Warranty, I have 2 brand new hard drives which are not shown on the site

Give Samsung a call and they should fix this. They will ask you for the SN and then it will be done.

RMAed Samsung products are having a special serial number,so the same is not feeded on thier servers, the database is only available with samsung HDD care shops only.
