Laptops Water drops on laptop , does it damages it ?

what happens when few water drops on laptop and reaches circuit boards ? i mean only a little bit like a drop or something , does it damages the board or ?

actually i dropped a few drops here as shown in figure , can someone tell me if that area contains any pcb or maybe effected by water ?

well technically it should as water allows electricity to pass through it,which may result in damaged board.

have you spilled water on your K/B?
