its the laptop HDD of IDE type, raised an RMA call

Do we need to pack the failed HDD for courier guy to pickup or will they handle the packing. Anyways I packed it with 3 sheets of newspaper and kept it ready

wonder what will the replacement be, i hope i get atleast a 80+GB one :bleh:
 
You need to pack the HDD yourself. They will only send the courier guy to your place for the pick up. I had around 4 newspaper sheets wrapped & sealed around it. :P
