Guys,

RMAed my 1.5 TB WD Green which was carrying 5 yrs warranty and was around 3 months old. They provided me with the replacement but the drive was just carrying 3 years warranty. Later, I had a talk with them regarding the same and now the warranty status for my drive is as follows:



Does dis means dat my drive carries life-time warranty???

Plse reply ASAP so dat so dat I can continue my commn with WD ....

^ No your Drive does not carry lifetime warranty as Status is showing No Limited Warranty.

I think what the status says is that your drive does not carry warranty at all.

Yes,Contact WD Regarding this there might be some Problem.
 
they would be updating your warranty. hold on for a few days and contact them again if the dont update it soon.

its not that way.

it would have been Limited Lifetime Warranty if it was that way..

even with warranty terms.. manufacturers advertise Limited 3/5 year Warranty ..
 
I dnt think that the current drive has any warranty bcoz its showing that the no of drives eligible for replacement is 0.
