I know, but at that point, it's kinda pointless to self-host static pages since Cloudflare already has Page Workers / whatever they call their hosting stuff.
I've had no problems. Always backup stuff.OK for starters, but for serious use do not use them. A vendors client - they lost everything - mails, website etc. Moved them to M365. GoDaddy i think for website, but not sure.
@SayantanGR - share that LET link
Hence my comment: https://techenclave.com/threads/website-hosting-for-an-absolute-amateur.228438/post-2627868So many of you are suggesting such complex stuff for a beginner!! Are you all out of your minds?
Sorry man. Please feel free to message me whenever free and I would be happy to help you understand these things.
Make a trial on Zoho Sites or SiteJet or Brizy Cloud. They've got a wide enough selection of templates and easy enough to offer one click publishing. I've personally used Zoho Sites and SiteJet in past and Brizy currently.
Best wishes, personally I find it a bit expensive for larger sites but I found it good value for money for small sites and when you're starting, reliability and results matter a bit more than initial price.I am gonna give Zoho sites a shot. I use a few other Zoho things personally and for work (Zoho mail, desk etc) and they have solid products with decent pricing. Will see how it works out.
Without a domain, how can one reach your single page site ?What would be a good option to create and host a one page site? Should I purchase a domain separately?
