Re: X-Mas LOOT

It is illegal to sell items for more than the MRP.

Comparing the two, looks like yebhi is doing that??

Otherwise it is OK to sell it at whatever rate.

And yes, the customer has to do proper research on prices.

Re: X-Mas LOOT

i checked that yesterday, the price of pen drive in yebhi's is just out-of--the--world

Re: X-Mas LOOT

Like the OP said, compare prices across various sites before making a purchase. In defense of Yebhi, I got a pair of Red Tape shoes last week from them. The MRP was Rs.2395; Myntra was selling it at MRP. Yebhi was selling it at Rs.1197 after discount; I applied a PayTM discount voucher and finally got it at Rs.897. :P

I guess we both bought the same model with the same voucher :P
But have you received it yet?? I ordered that along with another pair of shoes on the 20th i think. Got a bluedart tracking number on 21st. Yet no delivery. And on checking the tracking number on bluedart, i got a status: "Contact Customer Service" :(

Re: X-Mas LOOT

^ don't worry thats normal, instead of tracking from bluedart official site, login in your yebhi account and click on the tracking no there. It will show you the tracking status in details

I ordered on the 20th too.. :P It was shipped via Speedpost (my address was not serviceable by blue dart) on 21st, and I received it on 23rd. :)

Re: X-Mas LOOT

[OT]

There's no such thing called 'X-mas'.

Its as disrespectful as saying 'X Chathurthi', 'X Jayanthi', etc.

yeah its illegal to sell things above written MRP. But of you see MRPs written in electronics products are much more than the actual market price. And hence these sellers are on safe side.

(like the coke cans in flights/multiplexes - costs almost double the actual MRP outside. but of you see carefully - thats what written on those cans - the doubled mrp. If not, ask for a bill and head to consumer court. :P)

@CA50, logistopath: Thanks for the info!! I got mine delivered at 9pm today! The shoes are awesome! one pair was manufactured in Aug 2010, the other in July 2011. But both were of very good quality! (RedTape and Reebok)
(But I'm disappointed in the number of days BlueDart took. SpeePost got it delivered in 3 days?!)

True dat!

Online buying can never be cheaper then brick and mortar stores. Yes, we all do buy online because it is convenient but if you are prepared to hunt for products in fishy markets then surely you will get a cheaper if less reliable deal. It is sad that websites like naaptol which started with a great concept but have gone totally defunct and commercial now a days.
