Weird Problem while playing NFS UnderCover

i am encountering some weird problem these days while playing NFS undercover. when i try to quit by pressing ALT+F4 or CTRL+ALT+DEL then there is no response, but when i press windows key then it comes out from the game and after that when i try to ENDTASK it then again there is no response. For quit purpose i have to restart or log off. My computer configuration is-:
Proccy-: Intel Pentium D925 3.0GHZ running at 3.20GHZ
MB-: Gigabyte G31M-ES2L
Ram-: 1GB DDR2 kingston 667MHZ
GPU-: 512MB ATI Radeon 4850

You've got one strange prob. Well diagnosing this is gonna be a b**ch. So many factors involved.

1. If it is a cracked game, then check for another crack. I hope mods won't kill me for suggesting this.

2. Why don't you re-install the game and see. Save your game files. Do all your games have some prob like this?

3. This sounds like your Windows is somehow screwed. How long have you been running this installation? Perhaps a fresh install is in the cards. I know this is gonna be a pain but these stupid niggling issues are solved like this best if nothing else works.

I have 2 questions for the OP:

1. Why not quit normally?
2. Horrible plot, bad racing game, everything glows even the cracks on the road (if this game had pedestrians, they might have had glowing butt cracks) and yet you play it, WHY?

Anyways press 'alt+tab' then open task manager and kill the game, this brings me back to my question 1, Why not quit normally?

^to save myself from getting busted. and you are right everything is illuminated in this game, this is not present in NFS MW and carbon version.

^^ i think my KeyBoard is the main culprit i checked in MS-Word.

YEah keyboard could be the issue.. happens to me sometimes, but never has the need come to restart. STOP playing undercover and start playing DIRT. :hap2:
