Recently installed my newly purchased EVGA 7900 gs ko which my uncle kindly got from the U.S
hyeah: ...
The card is absolutely fabulous except a few problems...
1. When running most wanted, the screen stutters... there's no lag as such.. get a constant 30 fps at 1280X1024 maxxed out, looks beautiful.. but as the car gains speed, there's definitely a wobble in the display... Simply put, it appears as the car is "jumping" while being driven...
2. When running far cry, the water is weird.. like black n grey... not rendered properly... and again, the game is running @ >100 fps most of the time... never goes below 70...
3. Reading loads of reviews, F.E.A.R should give me around 40-50 fps on high settings at 1024X768... on running the test it does so too.. but when running the game, it lags all around... not running smoothly at all....
Here's what all I need to know....
-Now, I've installed forceware drivers ver 97.20... (told that they are the latest
n the most stable ones?). Should I install some other version??
-Now one of my friends was saying that driver(s) stability varies from card to manufacturer.. Is that true?? Isn't it supposed to be the same for all cards??
- On the other hand HL2 Ep1 is running absolutely perfectly.:huh: ...
