Yeah, you are writing crap...:bleh:

No such relation between the buffer size and the way the data is physically written on to the disk.

p.s they are 8mb ones ;)

p.s switch the 8mb ones performce better than the 16mb ones ;)

5k ? nice man!!... looking good for me.. waiting for my 2*160` s to be full .. choc a block! ..lol.. so i `ll go and pick up a 250 or 300.. hope the prices keep faling for next 2-3 months :)

I think the WD's only have a 16mb cache on their 250gig hdd's not the 300gig sata2

what the curent rate for T7K 250 Hitachi HD now?

I may be expanding my space!
