What does this ebay message mean?

So I had some items up for sale on ebay and saw this message today morning.

^^^^^^This says to ship the item once the buyer pays. So what does it mean? Has the buyer paid or not?

Checked ebay and it is confusing there too.

Now this says that the item has been sold while the other msg shows that buyer has not completed checkout.

Does anyone know what this all means?
Earlier when I sold items, I only had problem the last time where I got a similar msg and shipped the item next day and later found out that the buyer didn't pay. But he was a genuine guy and paid me later.

Buyer hasn't paid yet... Most probably he is using eBay mobile app! I would say this is bug in eBay mobile system...

yeah I remember. Last year when I faced a similar situation for the first time, that buyer was also using mobile app.
So does this mean that he tried to pay but couldn't pay and the item is in his cart now and no one else can buy it now until he removes it from his cart?

This happened to me twice 2 months ago. It was corrected automatically and my listing went online again. Buyer had reported that his payment was declined by ebay due to unknown reasons

The problem with the mobile app is that you cannot pay through it. Once you click on buy it now, it just says that you are now committed to buy the item and instructs to go to the main website to complete the transaction.

i guess you need to wait till buyer pays or raise a buyer not paid case after the timeline is over..then relist it... kind of stupid ebay policy, even after we force the paisapay payment..

Buyer yet to pay. He has chosen cheque etc method. plus send invoice to buyer thru ebay and ask him to pay.

Check ebay mail. There would be a button saying send invoice. Or you can do it from my ebay - selling- sold tab.

WTF is wrong with people on ebay. Now my other item is also stuck like this. Why do people add it when they don't want to pay at that moment???????????????????????????????????
Anyway, I have sent them the invoice. Let's see what happens

Nothing will happen. You have to go through the whole process for unpaid item to cancel the order or ebay will charge you as normal.

Nope. If the buyer fails to pay, you will have to file an unpaid item case with ebay for the order to get cancelled else ebay would charge you the fees.

You'll have to get in touch with ebay customer care for the process. Last it was after 3 days of sending invoice, I think.

I clicked on Resolve a Problem and it took me to this above page. If I cancel the transaction after 4 days, will that be sufficient?

Try calling the buyer and asking him if he paid or cancelled.
