Or you could have just right clicked on the particular ip and selected allow IP permanently.
I'm using 32bit Vista Ultimate and PG2 keeps hanging every few restarts(25-30hrs intervals). I use PG2 Loader RC5.
It does the same job as what 'recover driver' in XP used to do + list updation.

PG2 also comes in very handy as it logs all inbound & outbound IPv4 + IPv6 + IPv4 masking.
