CPU/Mobo What is better in 5K, buying mobo with onboard Graphic Card or mobo + Graphic card?

Now i am going with following configration but still in a dilima for the mobo and card:

AMD 4800+

Mobo (pls suggest one in which i can add one graphic card which has DVI or HDMI port)

Graphic Card (Pls suggest one with DVI or HDMI port pref. within 4K max.)

HDD 320GB 16mb buffer

DVD -RW Liteon

Monitor (32" LCD TV)

Cabinet Bijli with regular 450W smps

TOTAL BUDGET FOR THE ABOVE IS 17000/-
 
I'd buy an onboard any day, for peace of mind.

In fact , all my pc's have used onboard, and will continue to do so :)

@ rohit, you can crossfire only ATI cards. For a 780G board, a 3450 would be a better idea :)

else a stand alone 8600GT would still be as good , if not better

shaktiprabha:U seem to have a total of 8k left for the mobo and the graphics card..U could go for a gigabyte 740g mobo+a hd3650 or 9600gt..
 
you shld be going for 8600gt... onboard gfx for such a huge screen is crap!!
get 4600+ and overclock it.. wont make a huge difference!!

For mobo, go with Biostar A780G M2+ costing Rs :3,166 + 4%VAT which will be compatible well with Amd AM2 4600+/4800+ 95w CPUs (not recommended for higher end CPU, means not upgradable to high end CPSs). It has everything which 780g chip mobos have except it does not have firewire and e-SATA port.

Later on if you think that on graphics is not enough, then add a graphic card.
