All OS what is the best tab or ipad (old or refurbished) under 17k ?

I agree Ipad is better for long term use and productivity.
But for less than 15k you are getting some great high specs Android tablets too with amazing 2k display.
So both choice should serve you well.

If I was in your case and I needed something for mostly content watching. I would go for andriod tablet with good 2k+ display and big battery and fast charging.

If I needed something to study and do some productivity work. I would go for Ipad.

For 17K, your best bet would be ipad 9th gen. I'm not sure if you can get one for exactly 17k. Be little flexible on the price and search for 9th gen ipads on olx.

Some of the tips I can think of while shopping on olx are:
1. See the pictures. Are they clear?, does the pictures show any scratches, dents, screen pixel isssues?
2. If point 1 is clear. go through the description. Some kind people do mention of why they're selling it. Try to guage the device based on the photos and the description.
3. Find the resale value of the ipad using cashify (for the reference sake).
4. Next quote a reasonable price (which you can extend to couple more thousands if the buyer is willing to negotiate). Guage the price on the condition of the device too.
5. If both of you agree on a price, ask him to send you the model number to confirm the authenticity of the ipad.
6. If you get one, check it. If not, check for it before you exchange money after meeting the buyer.
7. In no circumstances, transfer of money should takes place without physically inspecting the device and confirming its condition.

Regularly it comes around 18000 on flipkart with card discounts

OP you should see the sale section as someone is selling an ipad with case and pencil for around your budget.
64 GB mushkil hai to recommend but decent price.

OP should really consider android also within 13k-15k he can get crazy screen.

Just helped my relative purchase realme pad 2 for 15k.

But he usage is only content and gaming.

I personally find iPadOS to be more refined and stable and I've used the previous Realme pad which was horrible. Also, there are cheap lightning pen drives and stuff for extra storage.

Oh okay.
Wasn't aware of lightning pendrives available too .
May be it works out well then.

Even I like Ipados. I sold my ipad m1 because I was planning to buy ipadnm4 ..My cousins have come from USA was thinking of ordering but for now l I have some other expenses to meet for next 3 months.

Had they waited 2-3 months more to come . Could have got drone too.

Any specific reason why you are upgrading from an M1 to M4?

I wanted oled on ipad since long time.
It's a brilliant tablet in terms of power and screen and my editing would have been efficient too ...even while traveling.
But it's not happening for next 3 months atleast.
Ab April ke baad hi sochenge.
Yeah, OLEDs are great but currently, I feel that is the only difference aside from the 120hz display over the iPad air and the extra price feel a bit too much for the pros. Great if you can afford them obviously.
