Having tried the CX300 & 400 ,unless the CX180 are supposed to be better models than CX300/400 , I really doubt they can be even anything close to M1 let alone being better in terms of detailing & clarity . The Sennheiser entry levels are more about bass & slightly artificial sounding mids + treble . If we are considering only bass quantity than ofcourse Sennheisers are better
