PC Peripherals What Rams?

Hello,

Looking to get myself a decent 4GB DDR2 Kit. Budget is 5k.

I went to my local dealer (Mahi Comp) and he only had Transcend Premium memory modules for 4.7k , but one thing I found odd about them that they were half the size in height in comparison to the regular modules we typically use. Are these good or should I look for something else?

Also I have a Geil 2gb kit, will there be any problems if I use them together?

Dont buy Transcend Premium memory [6-6-6-15]...

Not good for OCing ...

Why not try Corsair,Gskill or OCZ ???

Or

F2-6400CL5S-2GBPQ (2GB x 1)

When i went to buy the RAM at SP Road Bangalore..Even i was surprised bcoz of the Half height of the Ram,,,the dealer told me that the new rams have lessen height so no need to worry on that side...

I brot 2 GB Transcend Powerchip RAm module and i have overclocked them to
980 MHz at 2.0 volts...

And i have two different rams in my PC..still no issues,,,One Tamkor...and other one the transcend,,,

Can u put 2 Rams one of 1066 mhz and the other of 800 without any problems??

^^^they'll run at 800MHz, all of them...

thanks a ton because i dont know how to change the settings in BIOS a load of my back...
