I wanted to wear contacts so i went to a eye hospital for checkup, i was sent to an optometrist instead of a doctor , he just gave me a trial of Bausch & Lomb daily disposable & told me to wear monthly or weekly disposable lenses, no eye checkup was done .

I went to a titan eye+ store for acuvue daily disposable lens trial, these lenses fit me perfectly, felt like i wasnt wearing any lenses .

But i had already bought Bausch & Lomb monthly disposable softlens, so i tried these lenses today, there is no major discomfort but i have this feeling that there is something in my eyes , acuvue were better did not feel anything , is this happening due to the size of the lenses? maybe these Bausch & Lomb are too big for my eyes , is there any size test for contacts?

I've been wearing lenses for 6 years and i'm not really aware of any tests for prescription.
You have to try out a lot of lenses in order to find what suits you best, the base curve of the lens might be a bigger factor in your case.
I personally find ones with a base curve of 8.6mm to be most comfy, maybe the one you tried later was one with a bigger bc hence the feeling of having a foreign object in your eye.

acuvue has 8.5 base curve & Bausch & Lomb that i am using now has 8.6 . Shouldnt a optometrist check your eyes prescribe the correct base curve ?

You can consult your eye care professional about this, i just walked into different stores for trials and stuck with what i thought was best for me.

Been wearing lenses since 1995. Did not have any specific tests. Though, I find Acuvue disposal contacts more comfortable than B&L. Also the B&L ones do not have any dimpled depiction, to tell the ride side up.

How is iconnect from Bosch.
I'm thinking of getting one.

Also how long does a 120ml solution last if one uses daily to clean and every alternate days changes the solution in the lens storage box

Iconnect is good for the price and much more durable than some expensive ones i've used.
120 ml should last you around 10 days.

10 days ...sounds expensive ..
So it's around 700 per month then

Why are you buying the smaller one for daily use ? it's meant for emergencies or when you're travelling.
I get the 500ml one which costs around 400 and lasts me ~45 days,

Obviously for daily disposable you wont need solution but for weekly, monthly solution is needed, i am using monthly disposable right now .

I only use daily disposables, but like to wash the lens a bit before seating it. Even a tiny bit of debris/lint off the towel is extremely aggravating and painful in the eye.....!

I dont understand what you meant, washing a daily disposable is not needed & how does a towel get involved here ?

Washing daily disposables is not needed but some dust/lint from the fingertips will occasionally contaminate the lens surface when putting em on, he's just rinsing it before application.
How is the towel involved ? He washed his hands and wiped em dry before putting his lenses on.

Guys does the Renu solution 500ml one contain the lens container or not...

If not where to get one

So after trying few different types of lenses i feel, B&L purevision 2 are the best, they feel very comfortable & wearing them is very easy compared to B&L daily disposable. it takes me 15-20 minutes sometimes to put in daily disposables but purevision goes in in 1-2 attempts .

So much variation to seat them....? Do you resoak the lenses before inserting.
