Exactly :P

You crib bout how expensive indian food is cos with the normal indian thinkin, u automatically compare $ to rupees :bleh:

What about the salary converted in rupees that u get?

If you compare those, %age wise, the proportion will be similar.

Thats not the point I was making. If I can get thai, chinese, korean food for cheap in Germany, why cant it be the same for Indian food ?

Even the germans earning a salary here find Indian restaurants far too expensive. And JFYI, even if I calculate how much I earn here and the cost of food, its still more expensive than India!

^^if you eat outside over here, it will be 20pounds

basically what u pay in euros, it will be those many pounds here

i;ve done extensive comparisons with my friend in dusseldorf :)

oh I see..However, it also depends on which city you are talking about. For example: Frankfurt is a lot more expensive than dusseldorf. So must be the case in UK, I assume :)

don't covert curreny for everything you shop

Stop doing it else you won't be able to stay for long, :bleh:

* The toilets at airports don't have water, there just a tissue paper.nearly all Indians there take a mineral water bottle with them while going to toilets.:P so are comfortable with tissue?

*there is not much difference in prices of Mobile phones, its almost same

*The Electronic there are cheaper by 1k or 2k, specially those PMP media players and also you get lots of lots of features. they have manuals in Chinese

* I also have a Thinkpad purchased from China, it worked cheaper by 5k. so i brought it. but i have to change the Language of VISTA from Chinese to English by installing a Language pack.

* Do checkout the Super fast train in Shanghai:D

* Get a Translator, if you are going to smaller town, because no body knows English there. i am still in touch with a translator, she is/was based around shanghai. at what places you are going?
