What to do when a buyer doesn't pay ?

Is there a way to block the imei number so that it cannot be used again? Would be a good choice if all fails.
Good point. It can be done if the IMEI number is known and as a last resort let the buyer know that you would be filing a complaint for a lost mobile (though officially you cannot, just to make him think twice before he uses the mobile). The buyer might throw the mobile away and it would be of no use to him also.

filing a case in the consumer court could be time-consuming, hence approaching a service like akosha could be recommended.
and yes, getting the IMEI no. banned/blocked seems to be a good idea!

So we have to ask police to ban/block the imei? How does it work? Do all small/big carriers have to be notified by police of the banned imei?
