I am not able to figure the difference between H61 and H67:(.
Please anyone teach me the pros and cons of using H61 in a budget gaming rig.

^^

Plus no RAID support which is like choke, on a gaming system you should have this now standard feature.

I thought RAID is quite an unreliable tech, specially when combined with the recent high HDD failure rate.

^^ forget OCing. even unlocked chips..

I guess it has less usb ports or something.

Regarding, overclocking of the CPU, both H61 & H67 say GPU in this table LGA 1155 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia , so does that really mean no overclocking of CPU!?

How could that be, even my 8 year old budget-mobo supports processor OC!

Pardon my ignorance, but are you referring to RAID 0 setup? How many gamers actually do that? Besides with the advent of SSD's the importance of RAID 0 setup diminishes for performance.

SB ocing is largely limited to unlock multipliers of the "K" processors. FSB ocing is more or less ruled out due to "locking" of bus speeds (as increasing the FSB will increase the PCIE bus speed, SATA bus speed. Resulting in large stability issues). And multipliers can be changed only in P67 and Z68 chipsets (am not sure of Q67).
