The "Italian" tomato sauce or concentrate is really Chinese tomato!
For years, Italian industry is almost outsourced to China.

How this people get so integrated within the system is beyond me, the cancer is definitely inside the body.
As long as people inside keep supporting this, we are doomed to fail.

450 seems like a small number in comparison to Bengaluru, there are slums filled with Bangladeshis there and they have taken up a lot of the low paying jobs.
When questioned they'll always tell you that they're from WB, it's thank to didi's governance handing out Aadhaar cards for votes that has led to huge number of illegal immigrants working within our borders.

There were reports of criminals making fake aadhar cards for Bangladeshis. This is where both central and state govts. should be more cautious. Those illegals already might have purchased property and integrated here.

I'm from West Bengal, and I can attest. It's rampant here, for Bangladeshis. A large part of local business revenues came from Bangladeshis. In Kolkata, there's even a "mini Bangladesh", where locals would be ignored and Bangladeshis treated like royalty (currency exchange, hotel bookings, etc.) After the halt on visa issuance post riots, those shopkeepers started campaigning for Bangladeshis to return. When that failed, they are now trying to woo Indian nationals again.

We need to seriously tackle the Islamic radicalism problem, regionalism and broken reservation system to have bright future. Reservation has to bee totally based on present financial condition, giving reservation to wealthy sc/st doctors son/daughter doesn't benefit the actual SC/ST people with poor financial background.

Had visited sion hospital regarding a assault case.
The overwhelming majority (above 90%) of people were them .
Vast majority dont even have the courtesy to call the Dr. As Doctor. Felt bad for the Doctors there. Why will they be interested in serving the public once their compulsion(Residency) ends.

Asked the constable who was with me for my medical will you ever bring his family here, the answer was a promt NO.

There are even people from OC and OBC categories who are poor. What about these people?

The reservations should be given to such people also. I am not saying remove reservations but extend them to other communities as well depending on their economic status.

There are places even now in Kerala & Bihar where still people belonging to SC/ST communities are looked down upon by upper caste people.

So those state govts should implement some strict rules not to marginalised such people based on their caste but still it isn't happening.

So reservations are boon to some while it's bane to others who are poor still.

Reservation based on caste has lived long past its usefulness.
Now it should be based only on economic situation.
I would rather suggest to provide free Healthcare and education based on economic criteria rathen than jobs.
Anyways this are topics on which careers span we cant put it in a comment

* I myself belong from OBC caste and have never used it or my sister. My father was clueless about it being hotel employee in Mumbai.
Could have easily afforded a 1bhk in malad with all that money saved

^Not just Xiaomi, many high end electronic manufacturing is highly automated there for years.
They are far ahead in manufacturing using robotics, fully deploying in defense too:

In other thread you said USA supported India for last 25years, will still didn't reach near China.
Geopolitically

Unless that happens nothing follows and it takes its own time
And you think we are going to beat China just like that.
Yeah we will because China has peaked and won't recover. They are going to coast like the Japanese after the 90s. Whereas we are going to keep growing into the future

As someone who goes to China quite frequently, you're mistaken - by a huge margin.
China's industrial ecosystem cannot be replicated in near term anywhere, not even Vietnam, forget India.
"We" will not keep growing in the future - the stock market might, the corporates might, not we. Not the populace.

The people with these views can figure things out way better than you

We're not trying to be another China.

And China is no longer looking to attract FDI but become a source of it elsewhere. It's too expensive to make in China. In other words they are dismantling their infrastructure and shipping it out. Kinda like what the west was doing in the 90s.

600 million people in China survive on Rs.12k per day.

This isn’t all that surprising when you consider 60% of Americans live from one paycheck to the next.

China is a rich state with poor people.

Geopolitically they are miles ahead. No a single country in the world like or support India.

Yep, that is the point. It's going to take lot of time, unless unexpected events happen.

They might've learned from failures of others.

You are confusing things here. Read what I said again

No it will not take more time because all the sanctions that were imposed on India have been removed around five years ago. Some of them dating to the 70s. It was lobbying to get these removed by showing a strong India was in the US interest. Those sanctions put limits on what tech India could get from the west.

And yet we still grew. This is why our growth is unstoppable. All the countries with larger GDPs were assisted by the US. Think about it. Germany, Japan & China would not be were they are today without the US.

You can add Taiwan & Korea to that list but they are smaller GDP than us.

They might've learned from failures of others.
Won't get them out of the financial hole they have dug themselves into.

And remember XJP is our man in Beijing. He will send China back to the 90s. He's consolidated power and crowned himself emperor for life.

I hope he has a long life :D
