Merit shouldn't be tied to caste, that's why real money with real intent with real responsibilities needs to be spent on backward sections of the society.
Government cant eradicate caste & wont do the above either, but the rational people can ignore the age old oppressive system in the daily walks of life.
Merit will be tied to caste because caste based oppression was tied to education system. You cant deny education for generations & suddenly find it offensive when they given the chance through reservation.
The current formula is just making the society absolutely stupid and incompetent.
Was the society super intelligent before reservation was introduced ?

She was a DuPont employee, says right there in the very first para.
I saw a NGC article saying about strongest material invented or discovered from spider web or silk in Dupont labs in Pune. This article now isn't coming for any searches anywhere.
My uncle showed it to me and said diamonds aren't born out of nowhere but made in India. Just he was saying about the scientist who headed that research article that's all.

Everyday things look worse in this country.

I think by now most of the bhakts living in fantasy have also come to the conclusion that the current dispensation is useless. They used to think they're strong on security but that has also been proven wrong. Barring the paid ones most have turned on them slowly.

By the end of Mudi's term we would have wasted 15yrs. Become a trade colony of China and have mostly all enemies in our neighbourhood.

Even now there is zero effort to encourage manufacturing other than just slogans. What a comprehensive failure.
What this man inheritied was optimism. What he will leave are ashes.

Bruh.. Ask me please.
Gave UP PMT (before NEET was even a thing) back in 2003. Results with marks used to get declared in the newspaper back then. I distinctly remember getting somewhere around 80-85% marks, but couldn't get into KGMC Lucknow.
Quota guys got NEGATIVE marks and got into a prestigious institution. Lol.
Recently we saw Radio seats in AIIMS which had no general category seats available - only quotas.
We are ****ed. Well and truly.
Oh boy, it was the same for me too, things truly havent changed over decades lol, what these reservation defending idiots dont get is that even they are getting screwed, be it over corrupt babus demanding money (I can write whole essays on it) who paid lacs to get their posting, in professional circles where at first glance, almost everyone assumes that you are an idiot, or be it in Academia where in M.Tech/PHD you wont get any referrals (I have literally seen professors either outright denying recommendation letters or wording it in such a way, that its almost useless), or the fact an M.Tech/PHD from an Indian Institute is useless in Academia, heck even IITs wont hire PHD grads from IITs as Professors, same for higher tier NITs as well.

I have known cases where Officers in govt posting cant even draft a letter in Hindi to save their lives. Anyone who thinks Reservation in its current form is a good thing is an idiot.

Are they doing it for purpose?

First paneer, now roti ? this was barely a week ago.

I believe the country is capable of great change and it is indeed happening, but it will take time when compared to other countries in Europe or the states they have had independence far longer than us and we compared to them are a behemoth it will take us time to have reforms, change is views of people towards govts and shit , so although the country is going in a state of gradual decline I believe change is happening slowly but surely

Yeah it not that great , but in terms of income there should a something for lower caste, but this is too low , why 0 marks
There are hundreds of ways to generate income and uplift a society but guess people choose an easy way and beg for reservation which is given on the expenses of intelligent student suc!de, taking taxpayers money, middle class businesses, putting India's future in dark. Reservation is a cancer for a healthy society. it divides people 1. who are being forced to pay 2. who wants to avail more.

already posted in this thread but it's simple, no reservation for the next 2 generations if availed once, reservation on basis of Poverty not caste and reducing quota of reservation and restricting it to Btech or equivalent levels and entry level govt jobs
