Amrit Kaal loading. This country will become unlivable within the next 10 years for any rational, thinking and peace-loving person. Sadly, can't escape this so will most likely perish in this.
Other issues aside, at least on the "English speakers will soon be ashamed" front....it's all gas and farts

English will remain an important medium for several reasons, including progression as a world power. No two ways about it

This is also low-key inciting even more state-language wars.

Legendary Progress. My heart swells with pride.

The key issue here in what you have pointed out and also what I see is the country progressing towards cultivating more hatred and 'us' vs. 'them' attitudes. Right now, most of us from this forum live in our warm and relatively safe upper middle-class cocoons and see the happenings in the country through a window but for how long? If you're rich and powerful with enough contacts in the right places, congratulations to you. But if not, what options do ordinary people have to shield themselves from this violence and hatred? What options does a person have to shield themselves and their loved ones from the increasing polarization? - That is what bothers me.

Agreed, and it bothers most of the (sensible) populace, as well. Broader issues like these will only increase the divide.

AI is over-hyped.
India could have a bright future if

  • we strictly implemented 1 or 2 child policy and
  • restricted illegal immigrants and expelled them.
  • made education, housing, healthcare even more affordable
  • improve inequalities
  • stop blaming every one for our ills and took collective action

Sanjay Gandhi tried this decades ago his party lost power ...though brutal but so did China and today they are well under control as far as Population growth. Infact China now is asking people to produce more children.

  • restricted illegal immigrants and expelled them.
Didi and many politicians thrive on illegal immigrants for voting. Even make it easy for them to acquire aadhar card and voter card.
  • made education, housing, healthcare even more affordable
This. Totally agree instead of stupid freebies . This should be first priority.
  • improve inequalities
This . Again. Most important but not through just reservation. Other means should be discussed and done .
  • stop blaming every one for our ills and took collective action
Sahi bola.

All the countries who have developed have done so by embracing their language, culture, heritage etc.
Interestingly all of them have single religion, often ethnicity are very close and one common language.
This is true for China, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast, Middle East, Europe, North America etc.

As per studies, struggling countries are those who exclude large populations from productively contributing to economy - by using English for eg, or by oppressing and ridiculing them as swarthy or by high wealth and political control in a few people leading to limited social mobility.

Our country suffers from all these.
  • We have too much diversity - we should have at least one religion, one broad culture and one intelligible language
  • We have too much inequalities. Wealth and income needs to be divided more
  • We have too old and slow bureacracy, judiciary
  • We have been struggling too much individually
